Black Moss

This black moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In rainforests.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly frail.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release millions of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
