Emerald

This emerald moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas On trees.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is very sturdy; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release thousands of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
