Bronzeberry

This short caudiciform grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The needle-like stem is orange, and is dotted with small muted orange spines. The twisting, bronze trunk can grow to as much as 2 feet (61.0 cm) in diameter in the middle. Its moss green branches trail down across the ground and start growing at the top the stem.

The copious amounts of smooth-edged, wispy leaves are aquamarine on the edges and cyan at the center. They are frail, but are very difficult to pull away.

It is very slow growing, taking 9 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with petals that are either brown or gold, with a yellow center grows at the top, reappearing after 7 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 curved petals. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like cheese.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the violet flesh is rough, and the pink sap is thin and causes severe cramps if consumed.
