Silver

Tree type: Coniferous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This huge tree grows up to 121 meters (397.0 feet) tall and lives for over 2,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 2786 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a sturdy, twisting trunk covered in thin, wrinkled, silver and white bark, and inside, the light wood is pine-coloured.

The small bunches of branches trail down across the ground, with dozens of twigs covered with small bunches of large, yellow needles. The needles themselves are resistant.

In late summer it produces medium-sized, cream, winged seeds that float and land far away.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with grassy ground between them.

It is very rare outside of a particular area.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for making paper
