Caramel Spine Succulent

This modest-sized caudiciform grows up to 45 feet (13.7 meters) tall. The narrow stem is lime green, and is covered in lots of fine, caramel, hair-like spines. The wide, caramel trunk can grow to as much as 45 feet (13.7 meters) in diameter. Its lime green branches are long and thin.

The toothed-edged, needle-like leaves are found in lilac, slate and azure varieties. They are resistant, but are very difficult to pull away.

It is very fast growing, taking 9 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with pale yellow petals that gradient shift to hazel on the outer edge. The central disk is brown grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 23 curved petals. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like rotten meat.

The caudiciform's skin is nearly impenetrable, the grey flesh is leathery, and the copper sap is thin.
