Copperactus

This small cactus grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is copper, and is covered in dozens of flexible yellow spines. The round body is green, and is covered in brittle drab green spines.

It is very slow growing, taking 22 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are red on the underside and red on the top grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 48 curved petals. It has a faint scent that smells like something putrid.

The cactus's skin is very thick, the white flesh is rubbery, and the purple sap is thin.
