Copper Flame Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In bogs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they spread and grow quickly, and is slightly durable.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores.
