Copperbell

This giant caudiciform grows up to 173 feet (52.7 meters) tall. The tapering stem is pink-red, and is covered in thousands of rigid bronze spines. It has a wonky, thin, olive trunk atop a thin stilted platform of wrinkled, exposed roots. The branches are narrow and orange and trail down to the ground.

The irregular-edged, perforated leaves are solid grey with light brown splotches. They are resilient, but are very difficult to pull away.

It is very slow growing, taking 14 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with blood red petals on the lower layer and aquamarine petals decorated with amber dots on the inner layer. The central disk is hazel grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 petals. It has a soft scent that smells like a damp log.

The caudiciform's skin is extremely thick, the gold flesh is waxy, and the lime sap is thin.
