Caramel Leaf Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This short leaf succulent grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The narrow stem is orange, and is covered in thick bunches of fine, caramel, hair-like spines. The slender leaves are bronze on the sides and caramel at the center. Very large amounts of them grow on very thick, amber branches that are long and slender. The leaves are light, but take little effort to detach.

It is slow growing, taking 17 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are cyan in the center, lime in the middle and grey at the edges grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a tube made up of dozens of tightly layered, narrow petals. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like fruity.

The leaf succulent's skin is delicate, the blood red flesh is smooth, and the lime sap is thin.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
The stems are covered in large spikes.
The sap is edible and slightly sweet.
