Copperfern

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 38 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has numerous sturdy, straight stems covered in thick, smooth, copper-coloured bark, and the wood inside is gray.

The branches trail down towards the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of giant, wispy, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are cyan and cream, light and smooth.

In mid-spring it produces dozens of giant, amber flowers with circular shaped petals. They are hardy and have a soft scent that smells like blood.
