Bluebell

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 107 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many stocky, wonky stems covered in hard, waxy, light gray bark, and the wood inside is gray.

The branches are very long and thick with thousands of twigs that and are covered with handfuls of large, needle-like, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are either cream or blue, with hazel lines, tough and soft.

In late spring it produces large amounts of medium-sized, light brown flowers with sickle shaped petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have the faintest scent that smells like fruity.
