Red Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 16 feet (4.9 meters) and growing as high as 915 feet (278.9 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 3 months for the red stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are smooth and woody.

The slender, pointed, rough leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are either washed-out orange or dark brown, with grey splotches, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces many clusters of average violet flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of tiny seed pods.

The leaves are very toxic, and very sweet.
It can flourish even in standing water.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
