Emerald

This moss green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In damp forests.
It is enormous, growing up to 11 inches (28 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely strong.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores.
