Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In heathlands, and On trees.
It is big, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is slightly resilient.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
