Emerald Grass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short, emerald grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The 3 pointed stalks grow in large clumps that are rigid.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, vibrant green tuft.

During the mid-autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
The sap causes itchiness of the skin
The sap is edible and overwhelmingly savoury.
