Bronze
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This small cactus grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The perforated stem is green, and is covered in brittle light brown spines.
It is steady-growing, taking 12 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with solid bronze petals decorated with aquamarine dots and a drab red central disk grow at the top, reappearing after 8 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is largely flat with handfuls of tightly layered round-tipped petals. It has a weak scent that smells like rotten egg.
The cactus's skin is thick, the brilliant blue flesh is slimy, and the brown sap is thin.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
