Bronze Moss

This bronze moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In heathlands, In moorlands, and In marshes.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is extremely hardy.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores.
