Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In damp forests, In marshes, and In moorlands.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is slightly delicate.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
