Silvervine

This huge vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 533 feet (162.5 meters) and growing as high as 775 feet (236.2 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 47 years for the hazel stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 1.0 foot (30 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The very thick, leathery leaves reach up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) in length. They are a shade of gray-green that gradient shifts to cyan at the top, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the vine produces lots of giant silver flowers.
