Moss Green Succulent

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 14 feet (4.3 meters) tall. The perforated stem is moss green, and is covered in dozens of flexible slate spines. The cuboid body is vivid red and olive, and is covered in brittle dark brown spines.

It is fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid copper petals and a bright green central disk grows at the top, reappearing once every 8 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 20 curved petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like cigarette smoke.

The cactus's skin is rock-hard, the brown flesh is leathery, and the olive sap is thin.

It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
