Crimson Moss

This red moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps On trees.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is slightly flexible.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release hundred of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
