Blue Coral Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This huge leaf succulent grows up to 178 feet (54.3 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stem is gray, and is covered in lots of rigid cream spines. The finger-like leaves are either intense orange or brilliant blue, with caramel edges. Large amounts of them grow on very thick, moss green branches that are tall, rigid and upright. The leaves are light, and detach easily.

It is slow growing, taking 26 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with red petals and a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight sphere. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like pot-purri.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the red flesh is rough, and the beige sap is thin.
