Caramel

Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)

This big fruit tree grows up to 23 feet (7.0 meters) tall and lives for up to 25 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 39 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a very thick, crooked trunk covered in paper-thin, waxy, brown-green speckled bark, and inside, the very light wood is silver.

The numerous branches are very long and thick and are covered with very large amounts of large, stiff, pointed leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are cyan on the edges and caramel at the center.

In early spring, it produces hundreds of small, cyan blossoms with 9 pointed petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They detach easily and have a delicate scent that smells like a man.

In mid-autumn it produces small, fan-like fruit. The waxy cream skin is stretchy and inedible, and the crunchy light grey flesh is sweet and spicy and juicy. The red seeds are small and are dotted around on the skin of the fruit.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

It commonly grows in large patches.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
