Brownpetal

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 150 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous long and flexible, angular stems covered in very thick, knobbly, brown-green speckled bark, and the wood inside is pale brown-grey.

The branches are long and slender that and are covered with large amounts of miniature, circular, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are light brown with peach tips, light and rough.

In early spring it produces several giant, dark grey flowers with teardrop-shaped shaped petals. They are very delicate and have an intensely strong scent that smells like citrus.
