Emerald

This moss green moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas On trees, and In heathlands.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is slightly sturdy; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release millions of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
