Fireburst Cactus

This small cactus grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall. The very narrow, elongated stem is red and orange, and is covered in copious amounts of flexible brown spines.

It is very fast growing, taking 9 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with ashy yellow petals that gradient shift to yellow on the outer edge. The central disk is lime, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a cube with 41 widely spaced, round-tipped petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like mango.

The cactus's skin is thick, the amber flesh is soft, and the silver sap is thin.
