Amber Puff Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This small, moss green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thick stalks grow in small clumps that are durable and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, amber puff.

During the early winter, it produces an average amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of giant grains.

It can flourish even in standing water.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
Several parts of the leaf succulent have medicinal properties.
