Bloodvine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This small bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 10 feet (3.0 meters) and growing as high as 85 feet (25.9 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.
It takes 2 months for the blood red stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are smooth and slick.
The broad, flat, smooth leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are lime and silver, and have tattered edges.
It is often home to a particular bird species.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
