Brownfern

This brown moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In moorlands, In marshes, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and can spread and grow quickly, and is extremely tough; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
