Emerald Crescent Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In moorlands, In marshes, and In bogs.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is overwhelmingly strong.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release millions of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
