Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in large clumps On trees.
It is huge, growing up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is overwhelmingly light.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release thousands of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
