Blue Moss

This brown or gentle blue moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In damp forests, and In moorlands.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is slightly flimsy; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores.
