Emerald

This lime green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In moorlands.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is extremely sturdy.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release hundred of spores.
