Copperactus

This small cactus grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The very thin stem is copper, and is covered in brittle bold green spines. The spherical body is blood red, and is covered in thick bunches of fine, orange, hair-like spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 15 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with grey petals that gradient shift to bronze on the outer edge. The central disk is cyan, grow at the top, reappearing once every 9 years. The flower head is made up of many petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cup. It has a delicate scent that smells like varnish.

The cactus's skin is thin, the cyan flesh is waxy, and the indigo sap is thin.
