Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In moorlands, and In bogs.
It is huge, growing up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is slightly rigid.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
