Orange Blaze

This orange moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In damp forests.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly flexible; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores.
