Crimson Tide
Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its pink-red stem is very thin, and the giant, pink-red leaves are needle-like with tattered edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.
Around 90 giant flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with solid cream petals and an indigo central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 13 petals. They are sturdy.
It has a fairly strong scent that smells like fermented fruit, and it has lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.
It commonly grows in large patches.
