Copperleaf

This big leaf succulent grows up to 74 feet (22.6 meters) tall. The very thick stem is light red or olive, and is covered in thick bunches of rigid brown spines. The lumpy leaves are either orange or olive, with gold patches. Sparse amounts of them grow on slender, red branches that are long and thin. The leaves are frail, and easily come away when pulled.

It is quick growing, taking 10 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with turquoise petals on the lower layer and silver petals decorated with aquamarine dots on the inner layer. The central disk is bronze, grow at the top, reappearing once every 7 years. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. It has a strong scent that smells like freshly baked bread.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the slate flesh is leathery, and the black sap is thin.
