Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In marshes, On rotten logs, and In moorlands.
It is big, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly frail.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
