Crimson Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In bogs, In moorlands, and In marshes.
It is average-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly light.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release thousands of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
