Crimson Vine

It has several wide, crooked stems covered in wrinkled, light gray bark, and the wood inside is yellow.
The branches are short and thin with thousands of twigs that and are covered with sparse amounts of tiny, sickle shaped, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are a shade of pink-red that gradient shifts to olive at the top, frail and rough.
It produces handfuls of giant, crimson flowers with 6 oblong shaped petals. They are hardy and have an overpowering scent that smells like rotten egg. In early autumn it forms smallvivid green aril (seeds with fleshy covers).
It is suitable for making paper
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
