Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In rainy mountain ranges, In heathlands, and In moorlands.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they spread and grow quickly, and is slightly delicate.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores.
