Aquafruit Tree

Fruit Tree type: Coniferous (Stores water in its leaves)

This modest-sized fruit tree grows up to 14 feet (4.3 meters) tall and lives for up to 10 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 22 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a flexible, angular trunk covered in ridged, dark brown bark, and inside, the dense wood is black with white speckles.

The tangled mess of branches are long and thin and are covered with handfuls of small, thick leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are caramel with florescent blue tips.

In early spring, it produces many bunches of giant, aquamarine blossoms with fan-like petals. They are sturdy and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like cheese.

In mid-autumn it produces , circular fruit. The smooth caramel skin is peel-able and sweet, and the soft cream flesh is bitter and salty and very juicy. The caramel seeds are large and are bunched at the bottom of the fruit.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with patches of undergrowth between them.
