Blue Ash Moss

This ashy blue moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In moorlands, In rainforests, and On rotten logs.
It is big, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is extremely delicate; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
