Copper

This massive caudiciform grows up to 31 feet (9.4 meters) tall. The wispy stem is moss green, and is covered in sharp spines. The angular, yellow trunk can grow to as much as 31 feet (9.4 meters) in diameter in the middle. Its emerald branches are very long and thick and start growing at the base the stem.

The very large amounts of wavy-edged, circular leaves are orange at the bottom and copper with black edges at the top. They are light, but take little effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 21 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with solid indigo petals and a black central disk grow at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is largely flat with many widely spaced round-tipped petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like freshly washed clothes.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the purple flesh is sticky, and the amber sap is thin.
