Emerald

This green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In rainforests, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly flimsy; it struggles more than most during dry spells.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
