Crimson Spine Succulent

This large caudiciform grows up to 80 feet (24.4 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is moss green, and is covered in copious amounts of fine, beige, hair-like spines. The bulbous, crimson trunk can grow to as much as 80 feet (24.4 meters) in diameter. Its orange branches are tall, rigid and upright.

The tattered-edged, sickle shaped leaves are beige on the sides and sky blue at the center. They are robust, and take some effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with orange petals that gradient shift to brown on the outer edge. The central disk is ashy green grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 7 petals in raised layers. It has a delicate scent that smells like alcohol.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the pale purple flesh is soft, and the bronze sap is thin.
