Violetvine Grass

This giant, moss green grass grows up to 37 feet (11.3 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in large clumps that are resistant and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, violet spikelet.

During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
