Aquamarine Windvine

Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 26 years. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of thick, straight stems covered in paper-thin, wrinkled, dark gray bark, and the wood inside is light brown.

The branches are tall, rigid and upright with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with very large amounts of large, circular, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are solid aquamarine or olive, with washed-out green lines, pliable and rough.

In early summer it produces dozens of medium-sized, aquamarine blossoms with circular petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They detach easily and have a mildly strong scent that smells like paint.

In mid-autumn fan-like fruits ripen. The crispy grey skin is peel-able and inedible, and the slightly crunchy amber flesh is sweet and very dry. The cream seed is large and sits at the end of the fruit.

It is frequently struck by lightning.
All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
