Bronze

This enormous fruit tree grows up to 73 feet (22.3 meters) tall and lives for up to 30 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 68 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, straight trunk covered in rough, dark gray bark, and inside, the soft wood is silver.

The branches are very short and slender and are covered with sparse amounts of large, broad, flat leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are a shade of lime green that gradient shifts to aquamarine at the top.

In early spring, it produces a thick sheet of small, bronze blossoms with perforated petals. They are very delicate and have an overpowering scent that smells like warm milk.

In mid-summer it produces tiny, broad, flat fruit. The hairy florescent green skin is peel-able and inedible, and the soft bold red flesh is bitter and spicy and very juicy. The yellow seed is small and sits at the end of the fruit.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with patches of undergrowth between them.
